Spring Fresh Style Picks

Last week I walked in to Old Navy in search of a pair of dark skinny jeans for a dance performance Kaylee was scheduled to have the following day. Nothing like waiting last minute... you know how I roll. The skinny jeans were an easy find. I should have been in and out within 5 minutes. Should being the keyword there. I couldn't help that all of their spring pieces had just been put out on display! I browsed for about an hour, and ended up buying a few extra things along with the skinnies that I was solely in the store for.

There were so many cute things in every direction that I turned! I didn't know where to begin, so I browsed each section a handful of times making sure I didn't miss anything. It was definitely hard not buying it all. Can I just get one of everything in a size 8 please, and thank you!

This week I've been cleaning out her closet and ridding it of those clothes that do not fit anymore. I'm excited for the warm weather, and to take her spring clothes shopping. Our first stop, Old Navy, of course!

Here's a smidgen of my favorite spring picks for Kaylee...

These are just a few of my favorite picks for Asher since he will be a spring baby after all... Gah! I can't wait to start buying little boy things when I go shopping for kids clothes.
Yet again, Old Navy doesn't disappoint with their styles of children's clothing! What stores will you be hitting up for some spring/summer clothes shopping for the kids?

V-Day Picks with Gap and Old Navy

Gap and Old Navy are always my go-to when buying clothes for Kaylee. I love their stuff. Both places have the cutest outfits, and their prices are very reasonable when it comes to kids clothing!

Naturally, I visited each site to see what goodies they had for Valentines Day apparel. I found so many pieces that I wanted to purchase, and decided to share some of my favorites for Kaylee...

Now the dilemma... Narrowing these six outfits down to just one. Which is your favorite, or which would you choose?  If you like any of these pieces for your mini, you can find them at Gap or Old Navy. I love shopping for Kaylee and choosing things for each holiday. Everything in her size is seriously THE. CUTEST. I wish most of her closet came in my size!

Zulily and Back-to-School

Let me just begin this post by saying... I'm a huge fan of Zulily! Utterly love everything about the site and what it has to offer. A day doesn't pass that I don't find something for myself, Kaylee, and our home. The deals presented are perfectly priced; it's hard not to take advantage of the savings available. I love it, however, my bank account and future hubby do not exemplify that same unconditional love. Needless to say, a love/hate relationship has developed with the place. If only I could have an endless supply of dough.

Last week I was ranting about all of the "Back-to-School" advertisements floating around. Here in our little part of the world, I thought we had over a month left of summer. School's didn't get out until the second week of June, therefore, thinking school would be back into session sometime in September. WRONG. The first day back to school is scheduled for August 18th! What? How? Summer's here seem to be getting shorter and shorter.

Imagine my delight at learning we have a little over three weeks until the first day of second grade!

Anyways, back to the topic at hand... Zulily. While browsing the site this morning, I was elated to find all things school related; backpacks, lunch bags, supplies, shoes, clothes, etc. It couldn't have been more perfect, seeing as how we need to start buying this stuff STAT.

Kaylee spent the day with K, so I sent over pictures of about 10 different backpack and lunch bag styles for her to choose from. This year she decided on a matching navy pattern with a hot pink monogram. How cute are these?

There is such a vast variety to choose from. Here are all of the other really cute bags that made the cut for her to choose from, and make the decision on...

I'm really loving this little supply holder too. Last year the school was pretty strict on each student buying a plastic supply "box". As cute as this is, she just won't be able to use it at school. I think it could double as a cosmetic bag as well... Momma might have to purchase for herself!

Kaylee is so picky when it comes to clothes, that I get worried when I buy her something online. There are just soo many cute outfits choices, and different articles of clothing that I want to buy her though. It's going to be tough only purchasing the backpack and lunch bag. How can I possibly say no to any of these??

Oh, Zulily. You make it so difficult to say "NO". Oh so difficult. Maybe I can just buy it all, and hope I beat K home to hide the packages? Ha. Shopping is the only downfall to having a joint bank account.

So, if you're in the same boat as myself, needing to school shop quickly and not wanting to deal with that insane crowd... Zulily is your place. Get to ordering.

Happy Shopping!!

Family Favorites for the Fourth

This morning I've been doing a little bit of online shopping, and browsing a handful of stores. K and Kaylee already have their outfits for the Fourth of July... I on the other hand, do not. No surprise there since I literally wait last minute for everything. Since I'm being a last minute shopper, I've found that Old Navy has the best finds, and not to mention, great deals. Everyone loves a good deal, so I wanted to share with any of you procrastinator shoppers out there, my Fourth of July favorites for the family.

All clothing items shown above can be found at Old Navy.  For you last minute shoppers, like myself, go check your local store! That's where I'll be headed as soon as I leave work this afternoon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something's left in my size in the store. Maybe one day I will learn to plan ahead and buy in advance... or not.

Wishing everyone a safe and fun filled Fourth of July be it with family, friends, or both. Enjoy tomorrow with your loved ones.

*** Happy Fourth of July ***
