Total weight gain/loss: 28 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yes both maternity and pre-pregnancy pieces.
Sleep: Some; in between the many nightly visits to the bathroom, and my new craving for strawberry milk.
Best moment this week: Finally seeing some bigger movements with my tummy, and videoing my belly jumping when Asher had the hiccups.
Have you told family and friends: Most definitely.
Movement: Lots as of lately, and they’ve become much stronger and noticeable.
Food cravings: Crab and shrimp, apples, peaches, strawberry milk, and lots of water.
Anything making you queasy or sick: This week the nauseous feeling I always had in the beginning of this pregnancy has come back. I’ve just felt sick to my stomach all week long, but not from anything in particular.
Have you started to show yet: Yes.
How big is baby? The size of a large jicama – 16 3/4 inches in length, and weighing 3.75 pounds.
Gender: Boy.
Labor Signs: None.
Pregnancy Symptoms: Daily acid reflux, frequent back pain, nausea, and have started experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions.
Belly Button in or out? In and it’s there to stay
What I miss: Feeling normal, and my body not constantly in pain and aching.
What I am looking forward to: Our upcoming baby shower.
Wedding rings on or off? On – no swelling of my hands yet, but my feet have swelled slightly the past two evenings… or maybe my shoes have just gotten a bit smaller and tighter?
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy when I’m not in pain and uncomfortable...
Milestones: Your Dad and I taking a trip to Home Depot for the materials needed to FINALLY finish his yearlong uncompleted home projects. Gettin’ work done!

Luck of the Irish with Old Navy

St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner, so I'm turning to one of my favorite  kids clothing stores in search of Kaylee's outfit... Old Navy! I know that Asher isn't technically here yet for dressing up, but I want to share some of my favorite picks that I'd get for him as well.

I can't wait until Asher gets here. I'm beyond ready to start dressing him in all of these cute little boy clothes, and having he and Kaylee match on holiday's.

I love Old Navy, and never have a problem walking in and finding exactly what I need. There have been a select few occasions where our local store doesn't offer what I'm looking for "in store" and only online. When that has been the case, I just order online and have it shipped. These outfits are too cute for St. Patrick's Day! I'm thinking of buying Asher a couple of the pieces above just because. He'll be able to wear them soon enough.

Where are you getting your St. Paddy's Day attire from?

Brave Little Man Shower Ideas

Baby shower planning for little Asher has been well underway these past few weeks. We found a secured a location at our local Community Center. Facilities around town are becoming more and more outrageous on their rental prices. I had one restaurant give me a quote of $900 to use one of their rooms! Of which included the space for 3 hours, $500 to reserve the room, and another $400 minimum for them to cater. I don't know about your thoughts, but to me that's asinine for a BABY SHOWER. No thanks. Anyways, we were able to rent our Community Center for muuuch cheaper with tables and chairs included, and the facility for 8 hours. Score!

I think I've mentioned before, but I'm going with the tribal Brave Little Man theme for the shower. It ties in to how we are decorating the nursery. Last week I purchased some cute little chevron goodie bags and paper straws via Jane. I finally found and decided on this invitation...
I based the colors being used for the baby shower on the look of the invitation. I love the shades of blue with the pops of gray, orange, and yellow. It's neutral yet vibrant. I love it.

My sister-in-law has been helping to make some of the décor pieces. She's been great at pitching in to help, and pulling inspiration from my Pinterest board.
I found this cute little onesie banner that I want to use for the food table(s). My Mom grabbed a pack of onesies over the weekend, and now I just need to start decorating them... this is going to be the perfect project for Kaylee to help me with.
These tribal leggings are the cutest little things. I think I will add them to the onesie banner for display as well.
I die every time these moccasin's pop up on any website. Is it too much to ask for one in every little boy color they're made in? Asher will definitely have a few pairs of these! A pair or two of these can easily be displayed around the baby shower.
This is the adorable little cake I found. I'm just not sure if I want to have the entire cake made, or just the bottom layer with the teepees decorated around it. The girl who has made all of our cakes for the last few years is currently on maternity leave, and won't be able to make this one for us. I've been researching different people and places who will make it for a reasonable price. Of course, I've had some insanely high quotes, one being more than I paid for my wedding cake!
Absolutely loving these little feather accented cupcakes. My plan is to buy the cupcakes and foods at our local Sam's Club, and I can easily make the little feather toppers shown in either photo below.
As far as games are concerned, I've never been much in to playing baby shower games. Actually, I pretty much hate them. However, there has to be some form of entertainment, so I've found a few that I can endure. Another game might get added, but I'm still debating.

1) Nursery Rhyme Guessing
2) Putting a Diaper on Baby while Blind Folded
3) Baby Bottle Beer Chug

There are a couple of other things I've found to get guests involved, but wouldn't really call them "games" per say. I really liked the idea of a wooden block decorating station - this would help to involve the kids as well.
and this "Guess Asher's Birthday" sheet I created for each guest to partake in...
Maybe even do this "Stencil a Onesie" - kids could get involved in this, and it will give Asher some unique one of a kind clothing.
I've also made a cute little Activity Book for the kids table similar to the one I made for my wedding. I always want to keep the children entertained at these type of parties; they can get bored easily so I try to have kid friendly fun activities to keep them busy.

This week I will be working on the arrow garland that will be displayed behind the dessert table, the feather cutouts that will be décor for the napkins, and putting together the kids activity books. I found one of those cute teepees that I'm going to use for housing the gifts at the shower, and then use it in the nursery for his little reading nook.
I plan to include one of my favorite Bible verses at the shower. It flows perfectly with the theme, and holds great meaning. The rustic look of this piece is perfect. Maybe I can get K to make it for me!
{Psalm 127:3-4}
Our couple's baby shower is in a month, and we are well underway with planning and pulling everything together. I can't wait to decorate the day of and see how it all looks once completed!
